Sunday, November 22, 2015

2:40am – Call from Prayner/Libby Rd. where a 26yo male was arrested for OVI.

3:07am – Female in a tan cadi on Northfield Rd. slumped at the wheel where car is hanging over the sidewalk. Subject was returned to jail for OVI.

10:54am – Garage on the 21000 block of Kenyon Dr. was vandalized with spray paint sometime between 2:30am and 8am this morning.

1:08pm – Vehicle in a closed garage in the 16000 block of Maplewood Ct. was vandalized. Front windshield was damaged, 4 tires slashed, front seats were cut and 2 windows shattered. No suspects.

6:48pm – High speed vehicle pursuit with speeds ranging from 50mph to 80mph from Libby Rd. bridge to Paine to Raymond to Greenhurst where the 34yo male suspect was taken into custody. Subject had a suspended license and had a warrant with Cleveland Hts.

11:59am – Black male in a black jeep sitting in the vehicle on the 5400 block of Hollywood Ave. for approx. 1 hour. Passenger went into a residence a couple of times while wearing gloves. Officers arrested one juvenile who was entered as missing out of Cleveland. Juvenile originally gave officers a fictitious name and date of birth.

5:56pm – Report from the 15000 block of Grant Ave. where a female caller stated she went to her car and then ran inside her home leaving her vehicle UNLOCKED. When she returned, her car door was open and a phone case was taken.

7:50am – Two vehicles in a driveway of a residence in the 18000 block of Fairway Ave. were broken into overnight.

8:06am – Complainant from the 20000 block of McCracken Rd.stated someone broke into three vehicles parked in the driveway sometime last night.

9:32am – Someone entered an UNLOCKED car in the 19000 block of McCracken Rd. and took a small stun gun.

2:50pm – Package was taken from the porch of a residence on the 15000 block of Northwood Ave.

Friday, November 27, 2015

3:04am – Officer observed several people standing in front of the Barber and Beauty Salon on Broadway Ave. The officer also noticed several males entered the salon and others walked to a vehicle in the parking lot. An attempted to open the salon doors was made but there was a male inside the front door who would not unlock the door. The owner of the Barber and Beauty Salon was seen talking to the basement area and then the music got real quiet. After speaking toward the basement, she came to the door, unlocked it where she stated she was having a small get together and went back inside.  One vehicle the officer spoke with stated they were looking for the party but did not have money to get in. They were charging a $10.00 cover to get in. This information is for documentation purposes.

No way to treat a dog!
5:55pm – Caller stated there is a dog in the backyard of a residence from the 15000 block of Edgewood Ave. that has been left sitting outside in the rain all day, has not been fed and is barking continuously. Complainant stated the dog is constantly neglected and the animal warden has been contacted many times. Officers checked the residence, no one was home. A message was left for the animal warden.

Saturday, November 28, 2015

1:58am – A traffic stop on Maple Hts. Blvd./Libby Rd. where the driver was found to be impaired and the passenger had an open container of Long Island Iced Tea in her purse. The driver’s side door contained a burnt marijuana cigarette. The driver was arrested and charged with OVI. The passenger was cited for open container.

12:01pm – A van was left running in the yard of a vacant house on Raymond St. The vehicle is a stolen vehicle out of Euclid.
