 Maple Heights Dunham Park Gazebo12:18 AM Gazebo at Dunham Park was reported to be on fire. Arson investigation ongoing. Service Department removed remains of the gazebo.

1:44 PM  Subway on Broadway robbed. The suspect (a black male, 6’ tall wearing a black cap with yellow stripes, a jacket with a yellow stripe and glasses) had the clerk make a sandwich and then told him to open the cash register and give him the money. Subway in Garfield Heights was robbed by a male with the same description 20 minutes earlier. Suspect took off down Waterbury. Prior to the robbery in both cities a heavyset black female wearing a du rag and winter coat had come into the store and asked questions but left without ordering.

5:04 PM Maple Heights patrolman stopped a vehicle matching the description of one involved in burglaries in Garfield Heights. Garfield took the occupants into custody and towed the vehicle. #TeamWork

6:17 PM Reports of gunshots in the 18700 block of Raymond. One middle aged male arrested for discharge of a firearm.

8:30 PM Report of gunshots on the 5100 block of Lee road. One female was arrested.

 

Monday, November 16, 2015

5:23 AM Vehicle in violation of the 4AM-6AM parking ban. Vehicle had 3 unpaid parking tickets and expired plates. Vehicle was cited and towed.

4:29 PM  A resident on the 15800 block of Friend Ave discovered that her garage door and several windows had been shot with BB’s. The windows were broken.

7:41 PM Male robbed at gunpoint on the 5500 block of South Blvd, by two black males, one was wearing a black jobbing suit and the other had on a fatigue jacket with the hood pulled over his head. The guns had lasers. The suspects made the victim lie on the ground while they took off through back yards on the south side of the Blvd towards Waterbury.

2:02 AM Several residents reported hearing 5 gun shots in the area of 5700 South/Flora (Bedford). One resident observed a black SUV without headlights on drive past twice going toward Waterbury.

3:42 AM Residence on the 5500 block of E 141st had its front door shot with a BB gun.

1:19 PM Resident from the 21100 block of Watson reported bullet holes in her window. The window was shot with a BB gun.

2:18 PM Resident on the 20900 block of Watson reported the rear window a vehicle parked in the drive had been broken.

10:09 PM Residence on the 5400 block of E 141st shot at with BB gun.

Wednesday, November 18, 2015

4:30 AM Vehicle on the 5200 block of Thomas in violation of the 4-6AM parking ban with 4 unpaid ticket. Vehicle was cited and towed.

7:47 AM Neighbor in the 19900 block of Maple Heights Blvd reporting that she saw two black male juveniles (one in a gray hoodie, one in an orange hoodie/pink shirt) kick in the door at neighboring residence and go inside. They fled through backyards towards Raymond. Juveniles were seen running through backyards on Nitra, Camden, Homewood and were caught on the 18700 block of Harlan.

2:10 PM Mulch fire at I Can School on Southgate Park resulted in students being evacuated before the fire was located.

4:13 PM  Another resident on the 5400 block of E 141st street reporting BB holes in the front window. Heard a noise at approximately 10PM last night and found the holes today.

4:22 AM Alarm Company reporting a living room motion at a residence on the 21200 block of Kenyon. Officers located an open window and the house was cleared. Suspect located with evidence and outstanding warrant.

2:11 PM Neighbor on the 15700 block of Corkhill reporting an attempted burglary to a home. Observed 3 black males take an AC unit out of window. Suspects took off when the neighbor yelled at them. One was wearing black sweatshirt and red coat.

6:39 AM Report of a suspicious black male in a uniform looking into vehicles behind an apartment building on Lee… OR just a police officer out looking for a suspect.

9:49 AM Alarm at a residence on the 21200 block of Kenyon. Residence was secure but neighboring residence was observed by officers to have a chair under a window with a screen that had been moved, but no entry had been made.

10:56 AM Call from OnStar reporting a stolen vehicle at an apartment complex on the 5000 block of Warrensville Center. MHPD confirmed the vehicle and then turned the scene over to SHPD.

2:30 PM Bullet holes found in a home on the 5100 block of Joseph.

5:34PM Officer cited a 29 year old male for jaywalking on Broadway and Libby causing vehicles to stop or go around him.

9:53 PM Burglary to a home on the 19900 block of Fairway.

 

Saturday, November 21, 2015

7:51 PM Resident from the 20220 block of McCracken reporting a suspicious vehicle out front. When the police officer came to investigate they observed that the vehicle was filled with smoke, and smelled a strong odor of marijuana when the window was rolled down.

11:56 PM Resident from the 5300 block of Elmwood reporting that someone was shot AT. Bullet holes were located in the side door of the house, but no one was wounded.
