Play Learn and Grow Workshop

Branch: Maple Heights

Ages 1 to 3 with caregiver: Play, Learn and Grow Workshop is a five week series for parents and children ages one to three. A 60 minute program each week offers opportunities for children to play with developmentally appropriate toys in a play group atmosphere and for parents to meet and question community experts in the areas of child development, speech and language, nutrition, play, movement and music.

Registration is required beginning Wednesday, August 12, and siblings from birth to age 5 are welcome. Program will run on Saturdays, October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

 

Stay-n-Play Saturday

Jedi Training Academy

Fifty Shades of Publishing

There are as many ways to publish a book nowadays as there are shades of … well, writing. How do you decide what’s best for you? In this two-part series, we will take a look at the differences and issues involved, exploring the many shades of black, white and gray in the publishing world.

Deanna Adams, who has published both traditionally and with an indie publisher, is the author of four books of fiction and nonfiction. She is also the coordinator of the Western Reserve Writers Conference and an instructor at Lakeland Community College.
