4:39 AM Intoxicated male found lying in the middle of the street (Broadway/Lafayette). Cited for disorderly conduct.

9:23 AM Open back door reported at a vacant home on Stockton.  Copper pipe had been stolen and there was a water leak in the basement which the fire department was unable to stop.

1:54 PM Theft of jewelry from a home on Mendota during a party last Sunday. The 3 items reported stolen were valued at almost $10,000 together. Complainant needed theft document for insurance purposes.

10:12 PM Loud music coming from a home. Music could be heard in the street. Homeowner was cited for disturbing the peace.

1:24 AM Resident foiled an attempted burglary to his home on Watson. The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored dodge neon towards Warrensville.

9:29 AM  Resident confronted landlord about not paying his property taxes. Landlord thought resident had moved out because the rent hadn’t been paid in four months.

12:25 PM Report of female being jumped by several other females at the high school. 19 Action News reports on this incident here.

1:14 PM Neighbor on Watson reporting 3 males at vacant residence. Males were winterizing the house per work order, however 2 of the three had warrants.

1:25 PM Juvenile complainant reporting that her television had been stolen while she was sleeping. Female had invited a male friend with unknown last name over the night before. The male brought two of his friends over that she did not know, when she woke up both the males and the TV were gone.

4:27PM A female accompanied by a small children stole 18 DVD’s from the Maple Heights Library. The female and child went into the bathroom with a basket of DVD’s. Upon exiting the bathroom she left the basket by the stairs, met up with a friend and exited the library. When library staff found the basket, all the DVD cases were empty.

9:54 AM Maple Height High School teacher reporting being threatened by a student. School administration had been notified and is investigating but the teacher wanted the incident documented with the police as well.

2:08 PM 10 year old child reporting 53 year old female having a seizure. #ProperUseOf911

10:32 PM Male arrested at an address on the 16000 block of Maplepark on felony rape charges for the Columbus Police Department.

7:24 AM Complainant following up on a stolen cell phone incident to report that the suspect was going to meet her for a “job interview” in the parking lot at Dowd Auto. Suspect showed up and was charged with receiving stolen property and also had an outstanding warrant with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

10:00 AM Two females were cited for disorderly conduct, after one of the involved called to report that she had been assaulted (a squad was called for her for a facial injury).

11:09 AM Report of a grey, 2003 Chevy Tahoe stolen from the 20000 block of Clare overnight. Vehicle has an expired registration, 22” rims, tinted windows and Cadillac Escalade body kit. The plate was displayed in the front window by the driver’s visor.

1:14 PM Report of juveniles fighting. No one was fighting upon officer’s arrival but one juvenile was cited for jay walking.

3:15 PM Juvenile (on a bike) was hit by a car at Warrensville Center and Libby. Juvenile was transported to hospital.

4:11 Complainant reporting fight outside an apartment building. One male was arrested on domestic violence charges.

7:47 AM Female caller screaming there is blood everywhere. Victim refused transport by squad even though her head had gone through glass. Male was arrested on domestic violence charges and had multiple warrants.

8:21 AM One adult and 4 juveniles were arrested after 1 neighbor on Longview reported seeing them removing items from the house next door. A second neighbor reported seeing the males carrying something down Fairway. Fox 8 covered the story here.

5:51 PM Auxiliary officer reporting juvenile near Wylie athletic complex with a gun and is shooting it into the air. The gun was an airsoft gun.

8:25 AM Disable vehicle under 480 overpass on Broadway. Driver state his front tire fell off. Driver was cited for no operator’s license, no safety belt, unsafe vehicle and the marijuana found during the inventory of the vehicle before it was towed.

10:20 AM Neighbor on Camden reporting a vehicle parked on the street for 3 days. The vehicle was found to be stolen out of Maple Heights, as were the plates (belonged to different vehicle).

6:04 PM Request from Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention center requesting the Police Department check for a juvenile in our city who has violated his probation. Juvenile was located and transported back to the Detention Center.

10:43 PM Alarm Company reporting an alarm at the Dollar General in the Turney-Dunham Plaza. The doors were unlocked. Walton Hills assisted in clearing the building.

12:16 AM Mother reporting her 3 juveniles ran away an hour ago. Juveniles were found at 3:12 AM sleeping in a vehicle. Owner of the residence was unaware the parties were there.

2:45 AM Caller reporting an unknown person sitting in his (the caller’s) vehicle. Male was intoxicated and had gotten into what he thought was his brother’s vehicle.

5:41 PM Suspicious vehicle at Fifth Third Bank (Lee & Libby) following customers through the ATM.
