Brownlee Secures Spot on November 3, 2015 Ballot

Today, September 24, 2015,  the Cuyahoga Board of Election announced the Official Results from the September 8, 2015 Primary Election in Maple Heights. Annette Blackwell and Bill Brownlee will advance to the November 3, 2015 General Election. Brownlee narrowly beat out Mitchell, who secured more post-election (late arriving absentee and provisional) votes than Brownlee, but not enough to change the outcome. The Board also announced that there will be an automatic recount of the Maple Heights Mayoral race on September 30th, 2015. UPDATE: The recount resulted in no change in the vote count.

Maple Heights voters will not only be deciding on a new mayor, but whether or not they approve a levy to provide funding for the Maple Heights Senior Center on November 3, 2015.
