5:31 PM Complainant reporting juveniles in an unsecured vacant home on the 19800 block of Gardenview. Officer’s cleared the home and notified building department.
6:36 PM Complainant reported taking a Dunham Inn patron’s keys because she does not want him to drive home drunk. Complainant will be giving fellow patron a ride home. #DontDrinkandDrive

1:01 AM Complaint of loud music from a home on the 5200 block of Catherine. Music was excessive upon officer’s arrival and complainant signed the citation.
5:16 AM Complainant reporting vehicle racing up and down Beverly riding on the grass. Suspect was located at Stafford Park. Vehicle was taken from a home on Beverly. Juvenile driving the vehicle had been reported missing earlier in the morning after not returning home from the grocery store the previous day.
11:10 PM Child bitten (on the arm) by neighbor’s dog when the dog who was not on a leash. The dog entered the child’s yard. The dog also did not have a registration.
Monday, September 7, 2015 – LABOR DAY
- Between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM a 2003 Buick Century parked on the 5500 block of Dalewood had its driver’s side windows broken. An iPhone and debit card were stolen.
- Between 2:15 AM and 8:30 AM there was a theft from a 2016 Ford on Beverly. The rear passenger window was broken out and a Michael Kors purse and Coach Wallet and their contents were stolen. The card was used at different locations within the City of Maple Heights. A second vehicle owner on Beverly reported damage to their vehicles front passenger window, but no entry was gained.
- Theft of a spare purse that did not contain anything of value from a 2015 Dodge on the 18400 block of Edinboro. The front passenger window was broken.
At 4:54 AM a Maple Height’s Police Officer located a bike in the middle of Tatra near where it is intersected by Raymond. The bike’s make and model were painted over with black paint.
1:20 PM Officer reporting pursuit of a yellow dirt bike in the area of Garden and Home Street. Driver was located in a garage on the 17000 block of Broadway. Bike was towed and male was arrested.

12:05 AM Reports of shots fired on the 5200 block of Erwin. Two casings were located.
2:20 Drive Time reporting the theft of 2 catalytic converters overnight.
3:26 Two males were cited for jay walking on Maple Heights Blvd and Beechwood.
6:28 Police took time to talk with 4 year old and 11 year old brothers about the seriousness of stealing at the parents request. #OurPoliceCare
10:34 PM Report of 15 gunshots in Dalewood/Jackson area. Local hospitals were notified.
At 1:23 South Pointe notified that they were treating a male for glass in his face and eyes from a car window shattering. Previous to the window breaking victim heard gun shots and looked in the direction of the noise. The male claimed to have been in Maple Heights but did not know where.

9:22 AM Report of 2 juveniles checking door knobs on the 15300 block of Glenwood.
4:58 PM Caller reporting a possible domestic violence situation because her child’s friend came over with a swollen jaw/lips and always has bruises. Caller’s suspicions were right.
7:37 PM Fight on the 5500 block of Dalewood reported by two residents. One juvenile arrested.
8:08 PM Juvenile on the 5500 block of Dalewood reporting she was pepper sprayed by another juvenile.

10:45 AM Report of 4 juveniles at Southgate USA Park. One juvenile (foster child) had previously been reported missing. One was transported to school and the last two were transported home.
1:04 PM Resident from Granger Road reporting that windows were broken last night around 9:30PM.
1:41 PM Gas pump fire at Maple One Stop (Dunham/Turnery). The pump was hit by a vehicle which fled the scene.
10:46 Complaint of loud music from a home on the 14800 block of Tabor. Upon officers arrival the music was not excessive, but residents were advised of complaint. At 12:17 complainant called back reporting the music was back on louder than before. Upon officers arrival the music was extremely excessive. Resident was cited.

5:07 PM St Andrew Eastern Orthodox Church reporting theft of an iPod and computer modem from the church on September 9th. When the building was being locked up (on the 9th) the items were noticed to be missing and the back door was slightly open. Complainant did not observe anyone from the group using the church in that room.
