    • Waste Management Contract 2016 Cost of Solid Waste (garbage) pick-up: $1,230,060

(0:00) Solid Waste (Garbage) Fee discussion continued. Brownlee ask why the legislation still says $15/mo ($7.50 for homestead) if the lower estimate of $11.79/mo ($5.90 for homestead) will cover the cost. (1:25) Last year we didn’t do the actual calculation.

(11:35) 2015.60 A resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the budget commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. (First Reading)

(12:16) Update on the financial status of the Human Service Department. (24:20) Rebuilding together Northeast Ohio- Pilot Community Program for in-home modifications for seniors, disabled, and veterans. (22:07) Need is greater than the food pantry can handle; going to have a meeting with all the churches and Southgate has donated space for year round farmers market manned by volunteers. Food will be donated by the Cleveland Foodbank. (31:30) have to look at public-private partnerships. (32:34) Name change of Senior Center.

(30:34) Update on Fire Department.

(34:00) 2015-58 A resolution  honoring the life and legacy of the Honorable United States Congressman Louis Stokes in the City of Maple Heights. (First Reading)
