 2015-42  Garbage and Rubbish fee Assessment fees for 2016. (This fee is unchanged from when it included curbside recycling). (Second Reading)

2015-46 Lot Split of a parcel located at 16501 Rockside Road owned by Salemi/Redi-Wash Family Limited Partnership. This was approved by P&Z on July 13, 2015 and now must be approved by council. (First Reading)

2015-47 An ordinance to amend Chapter 1226 of the Codified Ordinances  entitled Land Reutilization by adding section 1226.02, Disposition of Unimproved Residential Lots. (First Reading)

2015-48 A resolution designating September as “Save our Homes Month” (First Reading)

2015-49 An ordinance to amend section 244.04 of the codified ordinances entitled Special Police and Clerical Help (First Reading).

  • Adds (summary): Part-time police officers who shall be considered unclassified employees. They shall not work more than an average of 30 hours per week for each 6 month period of time or more than 1500 in a calendar year. shall be paid an hourly rate between a Cadet Patrolman ($22.0987)  and a Patrolman First Class ($29.7571).

2015-50 A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a lease agreement of 1 2016 Navistar Terrs Starr Medium Duty Crawl Thru Ambulance for the Fire Department (First Reading).

2015-51 A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a lease agreement for 4 Ford Explorer Utility Interceptors  for the Police Department through Statewide Ford Lincoln (First Reading).

  • secure and apply for financing not to exceed $160,000.

2015-52 A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a lease agreement of 1 Extreme Duty Pumper Truck and equipment for the Fire Department (First Reading).

  • apply and secure financing, which includes the warranty in the principal amount, not to exceed $480,000.
  • leased from Sutphen Corporation

2015-53 A resolution authorizing acceptance of the SAFER Grant EMW-2014-FH-00163 in the amount of $1,106,958.

  • to hire 6 firefighters

Additionally, approval of Expenditures over $1000 and minutes from the July 1, 2015 meetings are on the agenda.
