The Maple Heights Planning and Zoning Commission will meet tomorrow, July 13, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall for a Public Hearing and Meeting to review the following applications:
2015-PZ-09: Rediwash Salemmi & family Limited Partnership requesting a lot split and consolidation at 16501 Rockside Road
2015-PZ-10: Kiss My Grits,LLC requesting a conditional use permit to operate a fast food restaurant in a Neighborhood Commercial District at 5131 Warrensville Center Road.
2015-PZ-11: W. Daniel Brickerstaff, II requesting approval of a non-conforming use permit to operate an Educational Institution (Life Skills for Adolescents) in a Neighborhood Commercial District at 5130 Warrensville Center Road.
Discussion About the Removal of Bars and Taverns as a Conditional Use?
Discussion: A discussion among the commission and administration regarding the question of whether or not to change the Zoning Code to remove “bars and taverns” from the Neighborhood Commercial District. Currently bars and taverns are permitted only by obtaining a conditional use permit in Neighborhood Commercial, General Commercial and the Broadway Corridor Overlay. They are prohibited in Residential districts. This map shows where the different districts are located.
