1-2-3 Engage with Me

Grades K-3: Parents and Children are invited to join us for light refreshments and a two part program of information and fun! For the first part, parents go separately with a Specialist to learn tips for working with their child at home to help them succeed at school, while children remain with the librarian for fun educational activities. Join us for FREE food, fun and family activities to prepare you and your child to enter Kindergarten this Fall! This program is intended for children that did not attend preschool. Join Maple Heights Police Chief John Popielarczyk, Garfield Heights Municipal Court Judge Deborah Nicastro, Garfield Heights Municipal Court Victim Advocate Glenn Dugas and Justice System Advocate Karen Gordon and the Director of Visitation  and Court Services Tim Boehnlein from the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center.  Learn the domestic violence warning signs and how the Maple Heights Police Department responds to domestic violence.  Get information about support services for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence in Maple Heights and about legal processes and interventions.  For more information, please call 216.587.9000.
