3:57am – Report of a house fire (basement) on Kenyon Dr. Incident under control by 4:23am.
5:51pm – Report of a house fire on South Blvd.
9:31pm – Male from Edgewood Ave. called reporting parties have been fighting outside for 10 minutes. Verbal argument over Ritz Crackers. Mother will handle the discipline between both 16yo juveniles.

1:08pm – 2 male shoplifters (45yo & 32yo) in custody at Home Depot on Libby Rd. Both were issued citations and advised of trespassing.
2:46pm – Officer conducted a traffic stop and discovered the 51yo female driver was driving under suspension. She was charged with failure to reinstate her license. Car was towed.
8:14pm – Female caller from Summit Ave. stated she found a loose raccoon sitting on her son’s bed. Officers removed the raccoon.
8:20pm – 2014 vehicle with keys was reported stolen from Maplepark Dr.

5:01pm – 22yo male suspect was arrested at Home Depot on Libby Rd. and charged with theft and trespassing.

9:48am – 2007 vehicle was reported to be damaged, call came from Maplepark Dr. Sometime between 10:30 pm last night and the time of call, an unknown party broke the drivers side door window and the drivers side tail light.
11:25am – Female from Maple Hts. Blvd. reported fraud. When subject filed her taxes she was informed by the IRS that another tax return had already been received using her name. The female did not file this tax return. The IRS would not disclose the amount of the return and advised her to document the incident with her local police department.
1:42pm – 29yo male (brother) and 24yo female (sister) on Benhoff Dr. were having an argument where the female slapped the male across the face. Officers were called and arrested the female and charged her with domestic violence.
7:42pm -Two officers on a traffic stop on Broadway Ave. discovered that the 20yo female owner/driver of the vehicle has no operator license. Vehicle was towed and driver was cited.

12:04am – An officer on a traffic stop on Broadway Ave./Libby Rd. discovered that the 24yo male driver was driving under suspensioin. Vehicle was towed and driver was cited.
12:38pm – Traffic stop on Libby Rd./Erwin St. Officer reported the 23yo male driver appeared very nervous and when asked if he had anything illegal in the vehicle, he handed the officer a glass pipe with marijuana residue inside of it. Driver was cited for drug paraphernalia.
*** 9:29pm – Female from Dunham Rd. called to report that she was being threatened over the phone by her husband.
*** 10:51pm – Same female from previous report stated her husband was outside her door knocking. (Husband also lives at the apartment with the complainant.) Officers arrived at 11:05pm and reported there was no answer at the door and they did not see the husband inside the apartment complex or in the parking lot. At 11:06pm, the complainant called again, stated she heard the officers but did not answer the door because she does not want the husband to know she is home. At 11:15pm, the complainant called again and stated her husband was knocking on the door again. Husband did not do anything wrong, he was just trying to get into their apartment. Husband was gone when officers arrived and complainant will leave to stay at a cousins.

*** 12:54am – Same female from previous report stated her husband came home and he has a gun ***TONE OUT*** Complainant is calling from a neighbors apartment. Officers arrived and arrested the complaintant and charged her with misuse of 911 and making a false report.
1:58am – Traffic stop on Warrensville Ctr. Rd. where the 29yo female driver was cited for no operators license (expired temp permit), vehicle was towed.

7:04pm – Officer on Warrensville Ctr. Rd. reported a 37yo male with a warrant was in the area. Subject was located and stopped near Giant Eagle walking through the parking lot. The subject had a strong alcoholic odor on or about his person, slurred speech and appeared to be intoxicated. A water bottle of pink liquid which smelled like an alcoholic beverage was also found. Subject was arrested for his warrant and cited for disorderly conduct and open container.
7:26pm – Garfield Hts. Police reported a vehicle was just taken from their city by the juvenile son of the vehicle owner, who is currently following the vehicle into our city. Vehicle was stopped at Libby/Hollywood. Juvenile was issued a traffic citation and the vehicle was turned over to the Garfield Hts. Police who arrived on scene.
