The February 18, 2015 Council Meeting Agenda has the following legislation listed for discussion.
- 2015-02: Approval of Demolition contract with Dept. of Development (third reading)
- 2015-05: Rental Registration Amended (1486.02(b) (second reading)
- Requiring landlords to be either current on property taxes or on a county payment plan in good standing
- 2015-07 : Zoning Map Amended (PUBLIC HEARING & first reading).
It is the purpose of the NC Neighborhood Commercial District to permit and encourage the retention and establishment of small convenience goods and personal services located in close proximity to the residential areas which it is intended to serve. The location of the NC District and the nature of the limited commercial activity should be developed to avoid undue traffic congestion for the surrounding residential neighborhood areas.
It is the purpose of the “GC” District to provide appropriate and convenient locations for shopping and convenience goods and services for the entire community which tend to generate large volumes of vehicular traffic.
Caucus is at 6:30 PM at the Maple Heights Senior Center followed by the Meeting at 7 PM.
Additionally, approval of Expenditures over $1000.
