MAPLE HEIGHTS, OH: At this afternoon’s Press Conference, Councilman Bill Brownlee and his legal counsel will be publicly announcing their filing of a federal lawsuit against officials of the City of Maple Heights. Most specifically, this lawsuit targets the wrongful actions of Mayor Jeffery Lansky.
Councilman Bill Brownlee states, “Mayor Jeffery Lansky has committed a gross betrayal of the public trust by prying into the private income tax records of residents. Simply seeking to obtain such information is cause for outrage, but obtaining it with the objective of using it to intimidate others is reprehensible.”
Since 1994, Mayor Jeffery Lansky has been aggressively bullying and intimidating political opponents in Maple Heights. The intimidation continues to this day as he vehemently attacks Councilman Brownlee and his local news website, Maple Heights News.
This afternoon, Councilman Brownlee will provide more information concerning the civil rights violations committed by Maple Heights City Officials. Copies of pertinent documents will be available for the press. Councilman Brownlee’s legal counsel will also be fielding questions.
The venue is the Maple Heights Public Library. The conference will be held in Meeting Room #1. Parking is plentiful and there will be accommodations for the setup of cameras.
