1:58am – Caller from Southgate park reported that 3 vehicles had been vandalized. The vehicles’ windows were busted out and the vehicles were ransacked. One vehicle had a GPS, Smith and Wesson handcuffs, jar of change, and a battery powered tire thread depth gauge taken from it. All 3 parties state they do not know who caused the damage. Officer spoke to the owner of the business who stated video cameras do not point in the direction the vehicles were parked.
2:00am – A call was received regarding a hit skip accident that occurred on Warrensville Ctr. Rd. The responding officer pursued the suspects vehicle and arrested and charged the driver with hit/skip. The vehicle was towed and a passenger was transported home.
2:02pm – Several calls were received of a vehicle in a house on Libby Rd. Four vehicles involved, two were towed. One arrest was made and the driver was charged with hit-skip and one driver was charged with driving under suspension. Two officers were checking for the hit-skip vehicle on Tokay.

10:48am – Male from Krems Ave. reported the theft of his wallet. Sometime between 10pm and this morning unknown person(s) entered his UNLOCKED vehicle while it was parked in his driveway. His wallet containing 4 credit cards, ID and SSN card were taken.
9:52pm – Person was shot outside the CD Game Exchange, walked to the Sunoco on Warrensville Center Rd. and was transported to Metro Hospital. Bedford Heights PD, Bedford PD, Warrensville Heights PD & Walton Hills PD were contacted for mutual aid as well as the K9 unit from Independence. Shell casings were located in the area of CD Game Exchange. AT&T was notified that Officers needed access to one of their boxes with a bullet hole to see if the bullet was inside. A gun was recovered at the Sunoco station which was stolen out of Cleveland.

10:58am – Two white males were observed stealing an air conditioning unit from the back of the vacant Nationwide Warehouse building on Warrensville Ctr. Rd. Both males were arrested and charged with theft. Their vehicle was also towed.

9:06am – Report received from Raymond St. of a suspicious occupied vehicle parked on the street for a couple hours with 2 black males. It was discovered that the vehicle was stolen from Cleveland. One suspect was arrested who also had a warrant with Cleveland for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
5:48pm – Caller from Dunham Rd. stated the subject hit him and is now armed with a knife. Officers spoke with both parties involved. They were inside cooking and drinking heavily, they got into an argument and both had knifes in their hands. Both parties agreed to go their separate ways and stay away from each other. One party was transported from the scene by a relative the other was going inside to pass out.
9:41pm – Officer was out with a 10 yr. old juvenile who was asking for money at the Walgreens on Lee Rd. Subject was transported home and turned over to his mother who was issued a citation for curfew violation.

6:52am – Female on Miller Ave. reported a vicious gold pit bull that is chasing after the kids and jumping on them preventing them from waiting at the bus stop. The tan lab mix type dog appears to be hanging around another residence on Miller Ave. where the owner of the dog was cited for animal at large. Message was left for the animal warden to follow up on this call as well as the building department to follow up on the condition of the house.
4:42pm – Hit/Skip accident on Eastwood Rd./Rockside Rd. involving a Ford Escape w/temporary tags and two black female occupants. Complainant followed the suspects into the Service Garage area, where they drove into the back, then up the South access road and then fled the area west on Corridon. Complainants wife had sustained injuries and was transported to Marymount Hospital.
THEN . . .
6:12pm – The complaintant (from above report) stated the suspect vehicle is parked in front of the ER entrance at Marymount Hospital. Garfield PD was contacted for mutual aid to assist until our officers arrive, but the suspect vehicle left prior to both Garfield’s and Maple’s PD arrival. Suspect vehicle and the females were located on Maplewood Ct. Vehicle was towed and both suspects were arrested. One was charged with disorderly conduct and the other for driving under suspension.

12:44am – Officers were with 2 males at the football field on West Blvd. One subject (16 yrs. old) was transported to his residence and turned over to his mother and father and issued a citation for curfew. The other subject (19 yrs old) was sent on his way.
4:20pm – Female from Philip St. stated her 13 yr. old son was choked by another child after school and had his phone stolen. The complainant followed the juvenile suspect and was taken to Philip St./Raymond where he met the female who has the phone. The phone was located at another residence on Philip St. One male juvenile was arrested, charged with “strong-arm” robbery and transported to a detention home.
9:39pm – Complainant from Waterbury Ave. stated she heard someone kick in the side door of the vacant house next door. At the same time the alarm company reported a general motion alarm at that residence. Two males wearing white shirts were seen running down South Blvd. No one was located inside and the copper piping is still present. Unable to make contact with owner. The home was re-secured.

1:54am – Vehicle went into a pole on Stockton Ave. and the 2 female occupants exited the vehicle and went down Stafford. The driver called to report she was involved in an accident and she is currently at a residence on Auburn. Officers arrived and made two arrests. The 16 yr. old driver was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and turned over to her mother. The 19 yr. old passenger was charged with underage consumption.
7:18am – Caller on Centuryway Rd. reported a suspicious vehicle in the complainant’s driveway with 2 subjects that are sleeping. The 2 subjects thought they were at a friend’s house. They were both cited for disorderly conduct and intoxication, and one subject was cited for open container (Vodka bottle). Owner of the vehicle provided proof of insurance and left with the vehicle and occupants.
3:22pm – Female on Lafayette reported she is watching two males enter a vacant house on Jefferson Rd. via the side window and they are now in the basement. The males ran towards Cunwillow Park upon seeing the officers. Bedford Hts K9 was dispatched and the Intermodal Yard was contacted to keep a lookout for a two males, descriptions given. One juvenile male was located on Adams and arrested.
4:30pm – A juvenile was arrested and charged with menacing on Theodore St. when the mailman reported being threatened by the subject who had a bow and arrow.
