Around 1:30 PM The Dollar Tree on Northfield was robbed. The robber posed as a shopper until he was checking out when he robbed the store. He was caught by the police within 20 minutes on Applegate.
One man was picked up by a Maple Heights patrolman on an outstanding warrant outside his Maple Heights Blvd home.
A man was robbed of $800 at gunpoint on Donnybrook by two black males in a grey grand prix with Georgia plates. The man had arranged to purchase two computers for $800 from the men. When they met to make the exchange, however, he was robbed. Video footage of the suspects vehicle was obtained from the Sunoco at the corner of Warrensville Center and Rockside.
An Adams Avenue resident reported loud music around 5:30 PM from a vehicle parked in the driveway. When the officer made contact with the occupants of the vehicle he smelled burnt marijuana. The owner of the vehicle was issued three drug and alcohol related citations and another occupant was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

1 AM Maple Heights police were called out with an occupied vehicle at Mapleleaf Tavern. One person was issued citations drug possessions and for illegal fireworks and a female in the vehicle was turned over to Brook Park on an outstanding warrant.
2 AM A male on a bicycle was turned over to Garfield Heights police after Maple Heights Police caught him riding without a headlight on his bike.
2:20 AM A resident reported two vehicles parked in front of her house. Upon the officers arrival a vehicle took off, but broke down on Greenhurst driver where the driver was arrested. Marijuana and cocaine were found in the vehicle.

An observant neighbor on Cato reported suspicious activity at neighboring residence of license plates being switched between vehicles, which had broken windows. One of the plates the neighbor called had been previously entered as stolen by Cleveland PD.
There was a burglary occurred at a Dalewood Avenue home between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM. Jewelry, alcohol and 3 gaming systems were stolen. The burglars broke in through a locked window, but the police were able to take fingerprints.
A vehicle was parked illegally (in front of a no parking sign) on Homewood and when the officer ran the plates it was discovered that they were fictitious. The plates were confiscated by police and the vehicle was towed.
8 PM RTA Police reported a fight on Warrensville Center. No one was fighting or appeared to be fight upon officers arrival, but two parties were arrested for outstanding warrants.

4 AM There was an attempted burglary to Five Star Car Audio. The alarm company reported an alarm and the suspect took off running southbound upon police arrival. Bedford Police responded with mutual aid and Shaker Heights K-9 also responded. Suspect was arrested at the Shell gas station.
A wallet was stolen from the a vehicle in a driveway on Henry.
8 PM Four males wearing black down jackets attempted to rob a man at gunpoint near Warrensville Center and Clare.

3 AM Robbery to a Waterbury Avenue home while the owner was out of town.
2:30 PM A woman stole hair from Cuyahoga Beauty Supply but left her purse, containing her ID, behind.
9:40 PM The McDonald’s drive-thru on Broadway and Libby was robbed at gunpoint. The robber got away with over eleven hundred dollars. The register tray was later found discarded on the tree lawn of Oak Park Avenue in Garfield Heights.
9:51 AM A vehicle drove through the back of of State Farm Insurance on Warrensville Center after the drivers brakes went out while she was driving down 480. The driver was arrested for an unpaid fine and the building sustained a hole in its cinder block wall.

Maple Heights Service Department reported a landscaping company whose contract with the city had expired was continuing to dump garbage in the city’s dumpster. .
November 24, 2013
Urban miners stole copper from the Ruffin Real Estate building. An observant neighbor saw the suspects getting into a vehicle and driving off.
Residents from Hillgrove, Raymond, Hansen, and Nitra reported thefts overnight from their automobiles.
