Senior Services Receives Grant from Cleveland Clinic

At the last City Council meeting Natalie Rudd, RN, of South Pointe Hospital and Lacy Zimmerman of Marymount Hospital personally delivered the grant to Human Services Director Linda Vopat.  Additionally, the hospitals will visit the Senior Center monthly to provide  health screenings and education on health issues like heart disease, obesity, blood pressure, and chronic disease management.

“Linda is a great asset to Maple,” said Rudd. “The people of Maple make is easy to partner with them…your goals are just like ours.” Both said that they felt a connection and look forward to expanding their partnership with the Maple Heights community.
