Last night, the Maple Heights Mustangs faced Cleveland Heights Tigers at Stafford Stadium for the Mustangs 2013 Homecoming Football Game.

Beat those Tigers

#52 Ronald Smith leads the charge.

The game started off with Cleveland Heights quickly taking the lead with a 31 yard touchdown run by #21 Bagley, followed by a fumble recovery by #9 Thrasher where he ran 40 yards for the touchdown. The final  touchdown in the first quarter was made by #6 Pauldo. All three extra point kicks were made, giving Cleveland Heights a 21 point lead in the first quarter.

In the second quarter the Tigers increased their lead by 13 points with a 1 yard touchdown run by Austin, with a good extra point kick and 48 yard touchdown run by #7 Bearden. The Mustangs were able to block the extra point kick.

At half-time the game was Cleveland Heights 34, Mustangs 0.  During the halftime show, both the  Tigers’ and Mustang Marching Band’s  broke out into dance. Even our new Band Director, Mr. Malcolm Jones, and Milkovich Middle School Music Teacher, Zack Kanter,  joined the fun.
