This was the third year for the Maple Heights Health and Wellness Fair. A steady flow of residents and other visitors perused the information tables, took health screenings and talked with health professionals. Attendees also had the opportunity to take part in some special presentations by Zumba and yoga instructor or chat with a pharmacist about prescription drug safety.
Councilman Richard Trojanski, along with Cleveland Clinic, organized the event. “We wanted to promote health and wellness among residents and raise awareness through offering health screenings,” said Trojanski. Natalie Rudd, RN of South Pointe Hospital and Lacy Zimmerman of Marymount Hospital both helped to organize the event as part of Cleveland Clinic’s community outreach efforts.
